Pierre-Olivier Bensahel
Pierre-Olivier Bensahel is Co-Managing Member of The Peninsula Group and serves as President of Peninsula Insurance Capital, LLC, Peninsula Lending Group, LLC and Peninsula Life Solutions, LLC.
Before joining The Peninsula Group, he was Vice President of Business Development at The Fairchild Corporation where his expertise in finance and strategic analysis was instrumental in turning around and later selling the company’s semiconductor division. Reporting directly to the Chairman and CEO, Mr. Bensahel also concentrated on the financing, closing, and follow-up of numerous portfolio companies.
As Executive Vice President of International Business Development at Sater Parachini in Paris, France, he focused on negotiating, financing and executing long-term waste collection and elimination contracts with municipalities in Central Europe. Before his tenure at Sater Parachini, he was a Director at Enskilda in Paris. Mr. Bensahel worked on cross-border mergers and acquisitions between France and Scandinavia, initiating and closing multiple transactions between Scandinavia and Europe. Mr. Bensahel started his professional career at Bain&Co. in London and Paris as a consultant advising large corporations on various strategic issues.
Mr. Bensahel graduated in the top 1 percent of his class from the HEC Business School, the leading graduate school of business in France.
