Peninsula Life Solutions is a premium finance lender.
Prior to the finalization of any loan, PLS performs a due diligence and compliance review to ensure that the insured meets certain criteria. The main goal of this is to prevent fraudulent behavior on behalf the insured, the agent, or the aggregator.
The insured and the life policy asset to be financed are then subject to financial, legal and economic due diligence in order to establish credit worthiness. Financial due diligence is based on insured’s financial statements and past tax returns and verified with the insured’s financial planner. PLS also performs a credit check on the Insured. Legal due diligence focuses on the ILIT in which the policy asset is held.
Peninsula Life Solutions is responsible for the funding of the initial loan and maintaining the loan throughout maturity.
