Peninsula Insurance Capital, LLC was formed to manage alternative investment funds which invest in life settlements, premium finance loans and other related life insurance products. Peninsula Insurance Capital manages Peninsula Life Settlement Fund, SPC, a Cayman Island segregated portfolio company, which purchases individual life settlements in order to aggregate investment portfolios or provides above-market returns on loans for premiums on newly issued senior life insurance policies. The Peninsula Life Settlement Fund offers investors the opportunity to invest in different “share classes” that have different leverage profiles and/or purchasing strategies.
Peninsula Insurance Capital utilizes Secondary Life Capital, LLC, and other life settlement providers to source the individual life settlement contracts. PIC reviews each case prior to closing to verify that underwriting guidelines have been met and to ensure consistency and accuracy. This is another demonstration of The Peninsula Group’s commitment to due diligence and best practices. A monthly valuation of the fund portfolio is calculated by an independent actuary and reviewed by Peninsula Insurance Capital. Under PIC’s guidance, investor relations and financial reporting are facilitated through an independent administrator based in Grand Cayman.
